A floral centerpiece does not always mean a pretty price tag!
When it comes to planning centerpieces for your event, remember bigger is not always better. The bigger the centerpiece the harder it will be for the people seated at the tables to converse with one another. Larger centerpieces could also obstruct the view of your guests of events going on. Larger centerpieces come with larger prices also.
There are many centerpiece ideas that add the flair you want but without the pretty price tags.

A little history about bobbing for apples:
Apples are believed to be great omens of your future. The Celtics believed that the sign of the pentagram was a sign of fertility and that once you cut into an apple the seeds make the sign of the pentagram. They also believed that the first unmarried person to catch an apple with just their mouth was the next to marry, this is where we come up with apple bobbing. To them, it was not a game but a matter of determining your life.
